Robert Lepage has always tinkered. When he was small, in the village of Notre-Dame-de-la-Doré, Lac Saint-Jean, he made his own trucks out of of wood. He still tinkers, but since 1970, he puts his imagination to the design and manufacture of luminaires. His hallmark is versatility and creativity; give him space, material and a concept and his love of technical challenges will turn into a bright idea. More than a sculptor, Robert Lepage is a designer whose inspiration comes from materials. His finely detailed works seem more jewelry design than "industrial" design. Private & shy, Robert focuses his passion, energy and enthusiasm into his creations in light, and wants to open the door to those who, like him, want to create beauty.
